(GRADE 3): CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.3.3.C: Decode multisyllable words. __ CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.3.3.D: Read grade-appropriate irregularly spelled words. __ CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.3.2.E: Use conventional spelling for high-frequency and other studied words and for adding suffixes to base words (e.g., sitting, smiled, cries, happiness). __ CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.3.2.F: Use spelling patterns and generalizations (e.g., word families, position-based spellings, syllable patterns, ending rules, meaningful word parts) in writing words. __ (GRADE 4): CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.4.3: Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. __ CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.4.3.A: Use combined knowledge of all letter-sound correspondences, syllabication patterns, and morphology (e.g., roots and affixes) to read accurately unfamiliar multisyllabic words in context and out of context. __ CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.4.1.G: Correctly use frequently confused words (e.g., to, too, two; there, their). __ CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.4.2.D: Spell grade-appropriate words correctly, consulting references as needed.
